DROP-IN PURCHASES & CANCELLATIONS - Drop-ins can be purchased and cancelled via the OCTIV app. There is a 12-hour booking and cancellation threshold for Group classes and 24 hour booking and cancellation threshold for Private, Semi-Private and Private Group classes.
- If you miss the cancellation threshold, you will unfortunately forfeit that booking.
- Should you cancel before the 12 / 24-hour cancellation threshold, you may re-book your group class via the OCTIV app. Private, Semi-Private and Private group must be rescheduled with admin.
- Drop-in Purchases are valid for 3 months.
- No refunds
MONTHLY DISCOUNTED PACKAGES - As this is a discounted package, it is offered at a special. Please be sure to read through the T's & C's very carefully!
- Purchases & payments must strictly be made before the 1st of each month.
- If you miss a class for any reason (illness, work commitments, family responsibility, travel, etc.), it cannot be carried over to the next week or month and you will forfeit that class.
- No refunds.
- If you know that you will be away and will not be able to attend some or most of the classes scheduled for the following month, you may prefer to switch to the drop-in or 3-month package option. In this case, at 1 weeks’ notice ahead of that month will be required if you normally attend on a monthly basis. Should you plan to not attend for the following month/s, a 1 weeks' notice should be provided.
- Should you not be able to or forget to provide the above-mentioned 1-week notice of cancellation, kindly make a deposit for that month. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this regard.
- The monthly class fee structure is calculated according to a flat monthly rate based on the studio being closed for 2 weeks per year, which includes public holidays.
- NB: The monthly discounted packages have been worked out to include the following:
- We are closed on public holidays and therefore no classes will be held. Should your class fall on a public holiday, it will automatically be cancelled and will not be shifted to another day.
- The instructor may cancel a class (if no other instructor is available) provided he/she is ill or has an emergency for no more than 2 lessons in that month. The cancelled class will not be moved to another day or time slot due to a fully booked weekly schedule.
- Some months have 4 weeks, and some months have 5, which means that clients will receive 1 or 2 free classes in a 5-week month to balance the public holidays and 2-week December holiday!
MONTHLY GROUP CLASS BOOKINGS AND CANCELATIONS - All classes must be booked and cancelled via the OCTIV app.
- There is a strict 12-hour booking and cancellation threshold for all Group classes.
- Space is limited to a maximum of 10 people per group class. In order to keep your guaranteed spot in the class, please make sure to book your classes well in advance to secure your spot.
- Sessions may be transferred to family and friends. If, due to unforeseen circumstances you are unable to change or cancel your appointment on time, you may ask a family member or a friend to make use of your private time slot in your absence.
- You may do the same for group classes but only on the condition that the person you would like to send in your place has done enough Pilates before if it's an intermediate-beginner class to ensure that they cope with the physical demands of the class.
PRIVATE, SEMI-PRIVATE & PRIVATE GROUP CLASS BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS- There is a strict 24 hour booking and cancellation threshold for Private, Semi-Private and Private Group classes.
- As every day of the week is fully booked, it is sometimes impossible to have a make-up option for your missed classes, even if we receive timely notice from you. Apologies.
- Any additional sessions or classes requested after the due date (1st of each month) will be charged at the normal drop-in rate.
- Please notify us of your Monday absence by Friday afternoon. Should you need to change your appointment to another day or time, the possibility of changing times is subject to availability.
3 MONTH PACKAGE PURCHASES AND CANCELATIONS - This package can be purchased at any time of the month.
- Valid for 3 months, from date of purchase.
- Classes cannot be carried over beyond the 3 months. Any classes not redeemed before the 3-month expiry date will unfortunately be forfeited.
- Please ensure that your classes are booked well in advance to secure your booking or spot in the group classes as most classes are fully booked. It is sometimes impossible to have a make-up option for your missed classes, even if we receive timely notice from you. Bookings can be made up to 3 months in advance.
- Group, Private & semi-private & Private Group sessions may be transferred to family and friends.

HOLISTIC MASSAGES- Please give a 24-hour cancellation notice.

- The masseuse has limited availability, so please ensure that your booking is made well in advanced to secure it.
IMPORTANT NOTES- Mobile Phones: Kindly set your phone on silent mode before entering the studio. NO cell phones are allowed in the studio! In emergency circumstances, you may keep your cell phone next to you during your class on a vibrating mode, but please take it outside the room if you need to answer it. We will not be held liable should we or another client step on your phone if it is with you in class.
- Grip socks: Please leave your shoes in the waiting room. Grip socks are compulsory for safety and hygiene purposes.
- Personal hygiene: Please avoid wearing perfume, especially if you attend the group classes as many people are sensitive to certain smells and may even develop an allergic reaction or headache. Personal hygiene is very important as we work very close to others and the instructors, we therefore ask you to please take care of any body odour you may have.
- Clothing: Please wear, tight (preferably), stretchy and comfortable clothing like gym or yoga wear. Avoid zips at the back, belts, long jewellery.
- Hair: Hair must be tied up to prevent it being left on the mat. Loose hair may interfere with sweeping head motions, correct spinal alignment or posture correction or interfere with the flow of movement and may cause neck discomfort the next day.
- Chewing gum: No chewing gum during class please. Besides it being very dangerous, it will break your concentration and interrupt your flow of breath.
Medical Clearance- As with all exercise programs doctor’s clearance is advised. Where rehabilitation from injury is required, your medical practitioner should provide us with written permission, report and recommendations. We believe in a holistic and positive approach.
- If you are pregnant (new and existing clients), a medical clearance must be provided by your GP or Gynaecologist before partaking in any classes.
We have a great respect for your health and for the heritage of Joseph Pilates and we hope you will share it with us. Therefore, we advise all beginners to complete a minimum of 4 private sessions before joining a Pilates group class. Pilates has to be taught step-by-step. Not every exercise is suitable for every person and often appropriate modifications are required. This will help us to become aware of your strengths and limitations in order to achieve your goals safely and effectively.
